Since 1995, SPECTRUM Commercial Services Company has offered Asset-Based Loans and Accounts Receivable Financing services nationwide for companies needing $100,000 to $6,000,000
Welcome to SPECTRUM Commercial Services
SPECTRUM has been an independent company since 2001. At SPECTRUM, we are proud to help companies that are rapidly growing or going through turnaround or transition. We provide financing secured by Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Equipment and Real Estate without the covenants or other restrictions common in bank loans. SPECTRUM understands the challenges businesses face and has the expertise, experience, and flexibility to provide financing tailored to the specific needs of a company. When unexpected time-sensitive situations arise, SPECTRUM is able to deliver answers and solutions quickly.
SPECTRUM was originally launched in 1995 as a division of Lyon Financial, a billion dollar affiliate of Schwan's Sales Enterprises, a worldwide leader in food service. In 2000, Schwan's sold Lyon Financial to U.S. Bancorp. SPECTRUM’s executive team consisting of Brian Van Nevel and Steve Lowenthal realized the value and potential of SPECTRUM as an independent finance company and successfully led a buyout of SPECTRUM from U.S. Bancorp in March 2001. Brian and Steve have since grown SPECTRUM substantially by focusing on the philosophy of honesty and integrity in approach, creativity, and unsurpassed excellence in customer service.
SPECTRUM works with companies struggling to grow their business and who are in need of cash, but find themselves in a situation where banks are unwilling or unable to supply the necessary working capital needed to operate the business. Some of the typical businesses SPECTRUM has helped include:
Companies experiencing rapid growth beyond a bank’s ability to support such growth.
Companies experiencing industry or company specific financial stress, resulting in one or two years of losses, sometimes more.
Startup companies that are growing without an adequate track record of sales or profitability.
Buy-out or merger scenarios where an owner may want to leverage the business assets to complete the transaction.
